Life Insurance Needs Calculator

Answer a few simple questions to estimate the amount of life insurance coverage you need.
Think about how much money it would take to cover daily living expenses. Don’t include education savings, childcare, or any debts that you would like to pay off immediately (such as your mortgage), since those are covered in other questions.

* this is a secure form and is completely anonymous.

Consider things like outstanding mortgage, student loans, credit card balances, and car loans.
Consider how much it will cost for childcare services in your area and how long you’ll need them. If you’re a stay-at-home parent, you’ll likely need to provide for childcare services if you are no longer around. Keep in mind that childcare needs will change as your kids get older.
If you don’t already have one, it’s a good idea to set aside at least three to six months’ worth of expenses in your emergency fund.
Don't include any life insurance policies you may have through work, since these policies would likely be eliminated if your job changes.
